Welcome to the On Guitars family, .

We created this custom Fink in Summer Blue with an oxidized Walnut neck. The wood has this deep, almost smoky character with a fresh and vibrant body color that fits perfectly to what Philipp aka „Jizzy“ does on stage with his band

Pickup wise we went for something special. A Charlie Christian underwound in the neck and a Swan overwound humbucker in the bridge. From warm and woody to raw and punchy. A pretty wild and powerful sound palette.

Philipp, thank you for the trust and for giving me the opportunity to build this unique instrument. It means a lot.

You can catch him with Slope on festivals this summer and on tour in autumn. Go see them live. It is intense, I promise!

The latest completed build and the last one leaving the shop this year. In a few days it heads to its new owner in the UK.

Pitpit Five 451 UW Herby in Flamingo Pink with a yellow linoleum pickguard in a terrazzo look.
32 inch medium scale five string bass that feels compact but still solid.

Custom underwound Mr. Iggy humbuckers for a bit more vintage vibe compared to the more modern standard set.

Alder body paired with a beautifully flamed European maple neck. The black headstock ties in perfectly with the black bridge and tuners.

Strung with flatwounds and finished with custom made plastic parts like k***s and pickup covers in a black and white terrazzo look.
Packed up safely in a Gator ICON gigbag.

Two weeks ago I had the amazing chance to meet the incredible bassist . He was in Germany playing with at the Festival in Nuremberg.

It was a real honor to be invited by Tone to the soundcheck and the concert. Talking with him was truly inspiring. He has such a deep musical understanding and a very warm personality.

During the soundcheck he tried out my Pitpit Five, and later that night he played it on two songs. I was so happy to hear my bass becoming part of that unique sound of this band.

Bilal is still on tour across Europe until mid-November. If they play near you, go see them. You will love it.

The hotter it gets outside, the cooler your guitar should look.

Say hi to this Fink MB in Caipirinha Fade – a new color variation that flows from one hue into another with a soft gradient around the neck pocket and cutaways.

I built this one especially for Bliss Fest on August 2nd in Amsterdam, hosted by the brilliant folks at . Can’t wait to be there – who else is coming?

This one features a set of Mockingbird pickups by my friend , giving this lightweight guitar (just 3.1 kg) a punchy, percussive tone that cuts through the mix with clarity – never harsh, always present.

Also worth pointing out: that killer bridge by . Seriously one of the nicest pieces of hardware I’ve worked with – solid feel, great design, and just the right vibe for this build. Thanks for keeping things fresh.

Here’s a little something while the Fink and Elster are getting ready for the configurator…

This is the Fink – my very first guitar design – now with a fresh new look thanks to a redesigned pickguard. Paired with a walnut neck, Charlie Christian neck pickup, and a humbucker at the bridge. Classic meets punchy.

It’s wild how much the body color and pickguard can change the whole vibe of a guitar. This carousel shows just a few of the options I’ve been experimenting with lately.

ON GUITARS TURNS 5! 🎉

Can’t believe it’s been five years already since I founded On Guitars! Huge thanks to everyone who’s been following along, sharing their excitement, and trusting me to build their instruments. I really means the world to me. 🫶

Speaking of exciting things – I’m holding the neck of a new prototype right here. A 5-string bass I’ve been working on. Hope to show you more soon!

What’s a 5-year anniversary without a proper party? On April 5, 2025, I’m celebrating 5 years of On Guitars with a live concert in my workshop in Munich!

Joining the celebration: feat. – bringing their funky vibes right into the space where all the guitars and basses come to life.

Last weekend at the Mango Tango put on an incredible show. played her Fink, was on a Pipit bass, and the whole band was on fire. .grosshaeuser joined them on vocals, and the vibe was just perfect.

I’ve got some exciting collaborations with Mango Tango lined up for this year—can’t wait to share more soon. For now, here are a few snapshots from the night.

This Pitpit 451 Herby is a Short Scale bass that doesn’t just sound great—it looks like the perfect dessert 🍧. With a matte flamingo pink alder body, a bright maple neck, and handcrafted plastic parts in a white terrazzo finish, this one is seriously hard to resist.
