The medieval market on Burg Lichten berg has been cancelled because of the heat :(

Medieval Market at Lichtenberg Castle in Thallichtenberg on June 27 & 28 😁
The historic Lichtenberg Castle is the perfect venue for such an event. Visitors are invited to experience history first-hand, as the clocks will be turned back to the Middle Ages. The market features a large knight camp presenting living history. The entertainment program includes medieval music and dance performances, gleeman, show fights, archery, and crossbow shooting.

Visitors can look forward to a spectacular fire show on Saturday evening. Food and beverages are available. The medieval market takes place on Saturday from noon until 11 p.m. The official opening of the medieval market starts with gun salutes on Saturday at 2 p.m. On Sunday the market is held from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission fee is € 8 for adults and € 6 for youths and people dressed in medieval garments. Kids up to a height of 1.20 m have free entrance. The museum of natural history GEOSKOP and the museum of local history can be visited on payment of a small fee. Parking fee is € 2.

So the holiday is over for this time. I had a great time and have returned with refilled energy levels.
The shop will be open tomorrow 0900-1800 as usual.

I spent most of the day messing around with this. Scratching my head trying to figure out how to display them.
Then I had the bright idea to create this thingymajiggy.

Our bath bombs are not like anything you have ever tried before. So natural you could practically eat them...... but they they taste horrible 😝 so keep them for the tub.
They FIZZ, but does not foam or bubble, because there is no soap in these ( and that is also why they COULD be eaten if you like baking soda that much 😆) Instead you will find good moisturizing oils and butters to keep your skin oh so soft... even that place on your back that you can never get to!!

At the Good old soap shop I have more than 50 different soaps that I rotate through the year.
Same base recipe, ( why mess with perfection) but with various changes like essential oils, Oats, coffee, salt, plant colors, clays, poppy seeds and herbs.
But I also make soaps colored with mica ( which is also actually a natural product although made in laboratory for cleanliness)
And Fragrance oils. ( many that are made to be allergen free for our most sensitive customers)
All my soaps are non-drying, Vegan and palm oil free. My focus have been on saving the environment as much as possible, right from the beginning of my soap making journey which is also reflected in my wrapping and handling of the soaps and other products.
Here we have:
Patchouli with calendula.
Irish coffee.
Apricot.
Black Raspberry Vanilla.
Beautiful life.
Flower Power.
Camino with poppy seeds.
Tuscany with salt and clay.
Mandarosium with clays.
Lavender with woad.
And Ragnarok
