This wonderful young lady is playing one of my cellos that I gave her on loan because she really needed to have a chance to play an instrument that matches her talent.

I am afraid I am not the only one...
Since my clamps for closing violin and viola bodies started deteriorating I decided to create 3-D models for them so they can either be printed with a 3-D printer (in the pictures the white ones) or made out of wood with a CNC router. Both work perfectly fine as a replacement and have been in use for a few months and several instruments now. The file format is STL which any 3-D printer can digest. They are designed so the hardware can be reused.

Soundpost of the day - yesterday! Number 100 of about 120. Yeeeey! Not that I needed that many soundposts, but my neighbors need the shavings for their guinea-pig's cage...🤣🤣🤣

Last weekend I exhibited at the Tokyo Stringed Instrument Fair with great success. Comments we're like "best sounding" Instruments or "they sound and play like old ones!" And they are for sale! Get them while they are still in Tokyo!
