The 1964 ES-335 Historic Reissue has never deserved the word authentic more than it does today‼️
Built by hand in the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, every detail reflects the care of experienced craftsmen, from wood selection and material choice to the pickguard, electronics, and pickups made on site 😍
With Paper-In-Oil capacitors, unpotted CustomBucker Alnico III pickups, hide-glue neck joint, a tubing-free truss rod, Kluson Green Key tuners, and historically correct binding produced on restored 1950s machines, this Historic moves even closer to the original ‼️
The result is an ES-335 with the character of another era and the legendary Gibson sound serious players and collectors still chase today 🤩

Created in close collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, it combines a Murphy Spec underwound Neck Custombucker, a 4-Conductor unpotted Custombucker with Push/Pull split, a finely carved 1959 rounded neck shape, a selected maple top, ultra-light selected one-piece mahogany body, one-piece extra-dark rosewood fingerboard, full hide glue construction, True Historic parts, and the original Gibson Lifton est. 1918 Custom Shop case ‼️
The thinner nitro finish, factory PLEK setup, and the unmistakable 21st fret abalone side dot give this instrument the feel of a deeply refined special edition with vintage soul and striking individuality 🤩
