It feels a little weird to just say ”We’re sold out” after the most intense, beautiful, and surreal week of our lives.
In less than 7 days, over 5,000 of you came together to pledge over $2 Million to help us bring Tembo into the world. You validated years of prototyping, designing, and dreaming about a screen-free, tactile way to make music.
We made the decision to close the campaign early. We reached our absolute maximum capacity for this first production run, and as a small team, we owe it to our early backers to put 100% of our focus into manufacturing. We want the instrument that arrives at your door to be absolutely perfect.
But this isn’t goodbye. It’s actually just day one.
The hype of the launch might be over, but the journey of actually building Tembo starts now. We are going to be sharing new content, and showing you all the ways this instrument can be played. We are so incredibly grateful to have you on this ride with us.
