Parents have a direct influence on their children and on shaping their future. That is why we believe it is extremely important to hear the thoughts and advice of those who are the very best in the ballroom dance industry; it can even help shape your children’s future lives.
Today, there are many myths about ballroom dancing. Some of them are true, and some are not. But one thing is a fact: ballroom dancing is one of the most underrated sports in the world.
Ballroom dancing develops a wide range of qualities, including equality between boys and girls, respect for and support of one’s partner, the ability to move toward a shared goal, self-confidence, graceful appearance, sense of rhythm, body coordination, health, brain development, and much more. At the same time, it is a sport with a relatively low risk of injury.
We have many examples of children who practiced ballroom dancing, finished their dance careers at the age of 17 or 18, and then successfully moved on to other fields. Ballroom dancing gives children a strong foundation of self-confidence and the feeling that they are capable of achieving anything.
