Congratulations to Tomáš Balík for his 92km flight in New Zealand with his Venus SC . Alpine flying in the South Alps of New Zealand is particularly difficult because majority of the bigger ranges and peaks are deep in back country requiring many days of hiking and retrieving as well as navigating fast changing conditions, sea breeze effects and general island weather.
