Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to the major masterpieces of French museums or having been painted in France.

The obverse represent Salvador Dali's famous masterpiece "The Persistence of Memory". The "Museum Masterpiece" stamp that defines this series has been added at the bottom right and blends with the work. In the background, the front of Beaubourg, where Salvador Dali has been the subject of several exhibitions, most recently in 2013, has been depicted. The name of the work and that of the artist also complete the decoration. The year 2021 appears on the left.

The reverse is common to the series. It depicts several views of many major French museums. An interior view of the Musée d’Orsay, on the top left, is recognizable by its distinctive clock. Beside that is a view of the façade of the Louvre as seen from the Napoleon courtyard where the pyramid is located. Below these two elements, a fresco shows the Hôtel Salé, which houses the Picasso Museum. The lower portion of the reverse side features a view of the façade of Hôtel Biron, the current Rodin Museum, and above, the famous Centre Pompidou stairway. The face value and the words “République Française” are also inscribed on the reverse side.

In 2023, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to Gustave Eiffel on the centenary of his death through a collection of coins and medals highlighting the man and his life's work. Famous French engineer and entrepreneur specialized in the construction of metal structures, Gustave Eiffel has shaped the landscapes of France and the world with his iconic works.

Gustave Eiffel is a prime example of the pioneering entrepreneur who, throughout his life, sought to meet the technical and scientific challenges he encountered, sometimes pushing back the limits of what was thought possible. To pay tribute to him in the finest possible way, Monnaie de Paris was determined to follow his example and take up the challenge of technical and technological innovation for this collection. It has developed the world's very first connected coin, a collector coin that tells a story far beyond its engraving.

The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Gustave Eiffel posing in front of an arch of the tower that bears his name. The portrait has been drawn in such a way that the features of the face, the hair and the clothes of the man are made of rivets, as if Gustave Eiffel was one with the metal structures that he imagined throughout his life.

The reverse of the coin features representations of some of the architect's major works. At its centre, the Eiffel Tower seen from above divides the design into several zones. In the space to the left, the Statue of Liberty reveals its skeleton. Above the top of the tower, one can see the Garabit viaduct. On the right is the plan of the aeroplane designed by Gustave Eiffel, the LE. Finally, below the tower is the Maria Pia de Porto bridge, which straddles the face value.

Maison Lacoste has been closely linked to the history of the Roland Garros tournament from its creation, René Lacoste having won it several times in the 1920s.

To continue the celebration of Maison Lacoste 90th anniversary, its historical partner, Roland Garros Grand Slam tournament, is joining the collaboration and allowing Monnaie de Paris to mint a 10 euro round coin; the very same one that will be used for the « Toss » during the 2023 tournament.

This traditional draw, whose name is an abbreviation of the action « to toss the coin », makes it possible to determine in all equity which of the two players will open the match.

Starting in 2020, Monnaiede Paris will retrace the history of American Independence through a collection of coins. The designs of the coins are directly inspired by historical products published by Monnaiede Paris: old medals from our archives. This sub-theme is part of the Great Dates of Humanity theme which began in 2019 with the fall of the Berlin Wall, the First Step on the Moon and the D day.

In 2020, Monnaie de Paris began the series “History of US Independency" with the arrival of La Fayette in Boston.

On the obverse, we can perceive France, symbolized by Minerva, helmeted and armed with a spear, protecting the British leopard, thanks to her shield decorated with three lilies, and young America in the guise of Hercules as a child, seated in his swaddling clothes on a shield (representing the military origin of the new nation), choking two snakes, which refer to the victories over the armies of Generals Burgoyne at Saratoga and Cornwallis at Yorktown.

The legend, taken from Book III of Horace's Odes, means 'the brave child was helped by the gods’.

It also reads "17 / 19 OCT. 1777. /1781.". The signature "DUPRÉ F." is engraved under the leopard's tail, which is placed between its legs as a sign of cowardice.

The reverse side depicts "Liberty", the left profile bust of a slender young woman, an American representation of Liberty. Her unbound hair fluttering in the wind, a staff topped by the cap of liberty resting on her right shoulder. She inspired Galle to engrave "French Liberty" for the monetary proof in 1792.Under the bust, one can see the signature of "DUPRÉ".

In exergue, one can read the date in French "4 JUIL.1776.". The hallmarks and the face value are also visible.

The mintage is 3,000 pieces, made of 999‰ pure silver.

From 2010, the French Excellence series has been combining the exceptional know-how of Comité Colbert brands or a French cultural institution with that of Monnaie de Paris to create a unique collection that combines their respective talents.

In 2025, the Lancôme House is celebrated for its 90th anniversary.

Monnaie de Paris and Lancôme are both members of Comité Colbert. They share a reputation for excellence, built over time through the quality of their creations. Each House has a deep-rooted vocation to perpetuate its know-how, while looking to the future and always seeking to innovate.

On this denomination, like a flower in full bloom in spring, Joaquin Jimenez's rose expresses itself in full voulume. The finesse of the engraving details is sublimated in this high relief cut, a jewel in its own right.

The obverse of the coin represents a pure rose, with its supple and delicate corolla. Nine petals, referring to the 90th anniversary celebrated by the collection, surround a polished heart. The latter is circled by a Ô, label of Lancôme, highlighted by its brightness on the pulp of the petals. With this design, Joaquin Jimenez offers his vision of the emblematic rose of the brand: a modern, sleek and warm flower.

On the reverse, the same petals tell the different know-how of Lancôme. Three motifs cover the body of the flower, they embody the three universes of the brand: perfume, makeup and skincare. On one side, blooming roses, as they could be found one the bush, are reminiscent of nature and of the raw materials used in products. On a different side, the embossing found in the powder and the make-up palette is reminded by a thin guilloché, a motif that symbolises the work of men and know-how.

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was America's third most produced fighter aircraft during World War II. It flew for the first time in 1938 and remained the only valid and available fighter in large numbers in the American air force until 1943. It served very honorably during most of the conflict, thanks to its low cost, its great ease maintenance and its great robustness.

The obverse of this coin depicts him in combat over a rice field against a Japanese aircraft, symbolizing his involvement in the Pacific during World War II.
