Now that the year comes to a close, it’s time to reflect and take stock. For now, the conclusion is that The Happy Cactus will be pausing its commercial baking activities. Not for a sad reason—quite the opposite! The other business is thriving, and we’ll be traveling more in 2025, so our focus needs to shift. Still, it feels a little bittersweet, like the end of an era. 🌵

At the end of 2025, we’ll revisit this decision, and who knows? With some strategic choices, there might be room again to bake brownies for all of you! 🤎

Until then, thank you so much for your support over the years—your visits to pop-up markets, your orders of brownies and granola, and all the wonderful crafts we got to create for you. You’ve inspired us and made this journey so much fun. Wishing you all an amazing new year and cheers to 2025! 🥂✨

THE HAPPY CACTUS GOES EUROPE! 🌍🇪🇺

In June 2024, The Happy Cactus will be in Europe and this gives our European friends the opportunity to also enjoy our lovely baked goods! So, have you always wanted to try our delicious brownies (with Oreo for example) or our (vegan) granola to make sure you start your morning happy and healthy, shoot us a DM for more information and to place your order!

This European Extravaganza Escapade also means that between 20 May and 15 July 2024, our dushi Curacao customers cannot order from The Happy Cactus. We will be back in July for all your orders! 🇨🇼

THE HAPPY CACTUS GOES BONAIRE! 😊🌵🇧🇶

Between Friday 20th and Tuesday 24th of October 2023, The Happy Cactus will visit Bonaire, the gorgeous sister island of Curacao, which gives our Bonarian friends the opportunity to also enjoy our lovely baked goods!

So, do you live on Bonaire and have always wanted to try our delicious brownies (with Oreo for example) or our (vegan) granola to make sure you start your morning happy and healthy, shoot us a DM for more information and to place your order!

Payment can be done in cash or via bank transfer, and delivery is also possible in the weekend.

[CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENTS] It’s that time of the year again, you may decorate your Christmas tree and what better to use than these lovely Curaçao themed ornaments? They already come as a gift set so all ready to surprise your loved one!

Tomorrow, December 4th 2022, The Happy Cactus will open a pop-up shop and cafe during the Open Monument Day 2022, which will take place in Otrobanda’s Reef Area. The Happy Cactus pop up will be located in the gorgeous red monument in the Zaantjessteeg, number 15 on the map, and you can get your fresh brownies and granola there for pick up, but also do your Christmas shopping with our gift sets, Christmas tree ornaments, coasters and other cool items for your loved ones!

This Sunday, December 4th 2022, The Happy Cactus will open a pop-up shop during the Open Monument Day 2022, which will take place in Otrobanda’s Reef Area. Reef (Rif) is located between Breedestraat and Pater Euwensweg and roughly east of the (former) St. Elisabeth Hospital and west of the Juliana Bridge ramp. And this year the Open Monument Day is extra special, because Willemstad is 25 years on the World Heritage List! Masha pabien to our lovely city!

The Happy Cactus pop-up shop will be located in the gorgeous red building between the Zaantjessteeg and the Elleboogsteeg (swipe to see the building), and you can get your fresh brownies and granola there for pick up, but also enjoy your Sunday coffee, shop our other items or just chill while having our fresh ginger-lime iced tea, of course accompanied with a fudgy brownie. [HOT CHOCOLATE] Fall is coming and even though on our lovely island that means it first gets very hot, it also means that it is time for AC, couch, Netflix and hot chocolate! Get your jar of chocolate love, filled with chocolate mix, marshmallows and chocolate chips, now from The Happy Cactus, mix with hot water or (preferably) warm milk and enjoy for only NAF 5,- per jar!
