a seed hidden in the heart of an apple is an orchard invisible 🍎
one of jaz's favourite books to read is newtonian physics for babies by chris ferrie. we'll read it 4 or 5 times in a row before my mom, on facetime, chuckles and makes a knowing comment about how familiar the situation is ♥️
we learned from sir isaac newton that the apple does not fall far from the tree. his aha moment wasn't for realizing things fell down, but for assertions including:
☝🏿 the force making things fall extends up and up and up and...
✌🏿 this force exists between any two things, and
👌🏿 the same force making this happen also holds the moon, stars, and us in orbit.
✨ mothers set a tone.
🧬 truly, they are a force woven into the fabric of who we are.
🐆 ancestors and foremothers,
🫂 grammies, grandmas, moms, and mamas…
today,
👑 WE CELEBRATE THE MATRIARCHY 👑
for planting seeds of determination, strength, intuition, humility, power, love, and peace
within us.
