I saw someone share a different expression on this and I’d like to share my take within this experience.
My belief:
My HEART’s guidance being poured into every ounce of my work, my art, and my life, will lead me to wherever I need to go.
It will align my work with whom is meant to receive It
My own authenticity
My own inner voice
That only my hands can create
That only my voice’s words can speak
Is the only anchor of truth I can know in this world that is ever so fueled and driven by external sources of guidance. It is the only knowing I can truly possess. And It is the only extension in which I wish to show up, and share in this world that is so committed to separating us from our humanness.
Living my life by hand is truly a labor of love. To be mindful of my influence and inspiration.
It’s a constant challenge to myself to continue to come home to that inner knowing in this modern world. Of what It means to be who I am in this body on this planet. And my knots are just a reflected expression of who and what that experience is. Using an external source to share that story, to me, will only do me a disservice in really innerstanding who I am.
Perfectly imperfectly
Divinely designed
With every knot, in and out of place
It’s me
And I don’t wish It to be shaped by anything else
