Believe it or not, removing outgrown lashes is hugely beneficial to fills, heres why!

If we dont remove grown out lashes, the following can happen:
• Cause discomfort for the client
• The base of the natural lash is much sturdier than the tips, as the extensions grow out the extensions begin to weigh down the natural lash, causing them to droop.
• The extensions may begin to twist, throwing off direction and cleanliness of the set
• The mapping shape may not look as planned
• The eyes may not look balanced as lashes don't grow and shed evenly across both eyes
• Too much weight on the lash follicle, potentially causing damage to the follicle.
• The mascara wand becomes more likely to hitch as the client brushes the lashes.
• Can even obstruct your clients vision and catch on their bottom lashes.
• The client is more likely to pick their lashes if they have grown out

By removing grown out lashes at fills, the possibility of any of these issues occurring are much less likely and the set will look cleaner, darker, fuller, nicer and feel way more amazing for the client. Not to mention, your retention will be worlds better! This is extra important for blonde clients. The light natural lashes become very noticeable when the clients wear dark lash extensions so if we don't remove those grown out extensions, the set will look as though the client has roots- no one wants that!
