【Hybrid vertebra bend restrictor】
The Hybrid vertebra bending restrictor is made of steel and polyurethane segments, providing the advantages of both materials in deep water, high-load applications. The hybrid vertebra bending limiter uses a steel segment near the structural support interface of the component, and a distance from the interface of the VBR component. The polyurethane segment is used to fully utilize the neutral buoyancy of the polyurethane.
Compared with all-steel VBR components, the polyurethane segment reduces the overall weight of the hybrid VBR component, and the polyurethane segment is easier to handle and assemble, saving time to a certain extent.
