In a high-bay warehouse dozens of meters tall, with thousands of storage locations packed tightly together, quickly locating a single pallet using only the human eye or paper documents is virtually impossible. But now, simply attaching an RFID tag to each pallet or bin is like giving it an “electronic ID.” When a forklift or stacker passes by, RFID readers installed in the aisles or on the racks emit invisible electromagnetic waves, instantly “communicating” with the tag—even if the tag is hidden among the goods or surrounded by metal, it can still be accurately identified.

The reader not only determines “whether the item is present,” but also uses signal strength and phase changes, combined with shelf-level coding, to precisely pinpoint its exact location with virtually zero error. Inventory counts no longer require downtime or manual climbing. Simply walk through the facility with a reader or let the stacker crane operate as usual, and the system can automatically read hundreds of tags within seconds, updating inventory data in real time. Ultimately, operators can view the exact location and quantity of every item from their computers, completely eliminating the headaches of misplaced or mis shipped goods, and ensuring that every cubic meter of the automated warehouse is under control.
