I remember speaking with a new fabric importer who was excited to start his business.

He had saved up his money, came to the market, and bought a little bit of everything.

Different designs. Different colors. Different qualities.

His thinking was simple:

“The more options I have, the more customers I’ll attract.”

A few months later, reality hit.

Some designs sold quickly. Most didn’t.
