Traditional flower tea is made by fermenting carefully selected tea leaves with fragrant fresh flowers. Flowers such as jasmine, rose, osmanthus and lily can be used as ingredients for flower tea. Due to the strong adsorption of green tea, the tea leaves used are generally green tea, although black tea and oolong tea can also be used. Popular herbal teas on the market are made from various flowers and herbs (such as rose, chamomile, lavender, etc.), creating a fragrant herbal drink that does not contain any tea leaves.

【Tieguanyin】
Anxi Tieguanyin tea is typically brewed in the Gaiwan using the Gongfu method. Start by rinsing the tea cup with hot water, then place the Tieguanyin tea into the cup. Pour the boiling water into the cup, causing the tea leaves to rotate. Use the cup lid to gently scrape off any floating white foam, keeping it fresh and clean.

High-quality Tieguanyin will form a layer of white frost during the production process due to the evaporation of caffeine along with moisture. After brewing, it has a natural orchid aroma and a rich and mellow taste.

Luckily, he encountered a monk who brewed him a cup of the rare tea he had hidden, which miraculously cured his illness. After he achieved the top score in the examination, he visited the monk to express his gratitude and inquired about the origin of the tea. He learned that the monk had wrapped a large robe around the tea bushes three times, giving rise to the name "Da Hong Pao.
