【Jiangnan tea region】
The majority of the tea regions in Jiangnan are located in low hilly areas, with some high mountains exceeding 1000 meters above sea level. The average temperature is 15-18°C, with winter temperatures generally around -8°C. Annual precipitation ranges from 1400 to 1600 millimeters, with the most rain in spring and summer, accounting for 60%-80% of the total annual precipitation, leading to dry conditions in autumn.
Jiangnan tea region is a suitable area for producing high-quality green tea, oolong tea, and scented tea. With a long history and abundant resources, it has produced many famous teas throughout history and modern times, including Huangshan Maofeng, Taiping Houkui, Jiuhua Maofeng, Biluochun, and West Lake Longjing.
