Bakers let's talk about Hand Gloves vs Hand Washing — baker to baker.

1. Team Hand Gloves.
Why do some bakers prefer hand gloves?
- Looks very professional to customers.
- Extra layer of protection when handling ready-to-eat items.
- Great for allergies, wounds, or when switching between tasks fast.
But here’s the catch:
Gloves give false confidence.
If you don’t change them often, dirty gloves = dirty hands 😬
(Some bakers wear one pair of hand gloves from morning till evening… that’s a big no.)

2. Team Hand Washing.
So many experienced bakers prefer this:
- Proper hand washing removes more germs than overused gloves.
- You feel when your hands are dirty.
- No risk of touching phone, money, door handle, then cake with the same gloves.

Rule:
Wash with soap + water.
✔ before baking.
✔ after touching money/phone.
✔ after the restroom.
✔ between tasks.

My honest advice:
Washed hands + gloves for finishing/decor = best combo
I personally wash my hands religiously😄 and use gloves only when it truly matters (decorating, filling, final touches).
