EGGER - Swiss Made Brass

EGGER - Swiss Made Brass Innovation: We strive to grasp of the acoustic concept behind every instrument, using the latest technologies to aid us in our understanding. umgesetzt.

CRAFT AND PRECISION AT THE SERVICE OF ART AND CULTURE
Tradition: When making historical copies, we stay as close as possible to the original, not only in dimensions and material, but also in the craftsmanship techniques we employ. With this knowledge, we can influence the properties of an instrument in a directed way. Excellence: We are constantly refining our technical workmanship and our underst

anding of acoustics, applying our expertise in new ways to create specialized instruments of world-class quality. Unique Possibilities: We believe that all musicians are unique and aim to serve them by providing instruments customised to different sound concepts and playing demands.

On April 14th and 15th, we had the pleasure of presenting a diverse selection of our historical instruments at the Exhibition of the Misteria Paschalia Festival 2025 in Krakow.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with many long-time friends, including the esteemed Marian Magiera, and to meet numerous inspiring musicians.
The event was a true delight, allowing us to showcase a fine array of our instruments. One highlight was the great interest shown in one of our latest developments: the Boston Cornet – a rotary cornet inspired by original models used in the early days of the US Army.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all visitors for their enthusiasm and curiosity, and to the organizing team for their warm hospitality and excellent work in hosting us!

What a great start to our Exhibition Tour!
Yesterday’s stop in Leipzig was a lot of fun: we enjoyed presenting our Romantic Trombones and exchanging ideas with many engaged and accomplished trombonists:

🔹 Sebastian Krause – Solo trombonist of the MDR Symphony Orchestra and professor of trombone/historical trombone
🔹 Stefan Wagner – Member of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig
🔹 Hans-Martin Schlegel – Board member of the Association for Central German Trombone History, freelance musician and educator specialized in early 19th-century brass
🔹 Fernando Günther – Bass trombonist of the MDR Symphony Orchestra
🔹 As well as some talented students of the Hochschule

A huge thank you to Sebastian Krause for organizing and hosting the event at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Hochschule für Musik und Theater. It was a pleasure to welcome such outstanding musicians and inspiring to hear the instruments in action and exchange ideas.

Now we’re on our way to Dresden – see you there!
