🎺 The Benny Brown Signature Series
Like a twist of fate – or to put it more accurately: From bachelor party to mouthpiece. That’s how the incredible story of Benny Brown and his namesake Galileo mouthpiece begins. ✨ The models in the series:
Benny Brown 6GL – larger cup for a warm, full tone; ideal for orchestral use and players accustomed to bigger mouthpieces.
Benny Brown 9½ H – small bore, open back, heavier construction; perfect lead trumpet sound with excellent intonation and projection for big band or studio work.

🎵 Materials:
Brass → rounder, warmer sound
Nickel silver → brighter, more brilliant sound

This series combines historical inspiration (Horst Fischer mouthpiece) with modern Galileo craftsmanship — developed in close collaboration with Benny himself.

Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of meeting Shane Hooten and Rosie Turner from the trumpet section of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the

at Brassweek Samedan 🎺🏔️
Last week, we had the pleasure of showcasing a range of instruments at the beautiful – right in the heart of the stunning Engadin mountains.
Alongside our trumpet lineup, we brought our Galileo mouthpiece series – including our brand-new Benny Brown Signature Mouthpiec . Even better: Benny was there in person! It was great catching up, getting his feedback, and presenting the mouthpiece together.

Busy weeks lately – we’re working on a new batch of Bb trumpets. This week, we focused on fine-tuning each instrument’s configuration to achieve the optimal setup and ensure the highest standards in sound and playability.
The Rhenus Bb trumpet is a true allrounder, offering a rich, versatile tone with excellent projection and control. Its effortless response, precise articulation, and Galileo’s signature intonation make it an outstanding choice for soloists, orchestral work and beyond.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Yigal Meltzer and Eran Reemy from the Israel Philharmonic during their tour in Basel. It was a great opportunity to show them around our workshop and make some fine adjustments and repairs to their trumpets.
They’re still very enthusiastic about their Galileo rotary valve trumpets — and so are we!
