So proud to see a piece from my “Multiples Facettes” collection featured in the newest editorial “Closeness” by Andrey Heimonen & Mila Milanovich for ✨

This look - originally part of a project at - carries the story of Elmar the Elephant, a childhood symbol of individuality and joyful diversity. In this styling, the floral patchwork jacket takes on a whole new energy, paired with clean-cut pants by Victoria Beckham.

It’s not a garment.
But it speaks volumes about design, materials and the systems behind them.

As part of our Material Circularity module in the MA Eco-Social Design, we were asked to take things apart. Literally.
This mouse — once a seamless object — unravels into a chaos of materials: metals, plastics, wires, composites.
All too small, too mixed, too complex to recycle effectively.

Fashion faces the same challenge: synthetic blends, flashy trims, glued soles. Designed for the now, but not for what’s next.

In nature, nothing is waste — everything cycles.
But how do we design for circularity in a world built on fragmentation?

✨ Watching Nemo’s mesmerizing performance at the Eurovision Song Contest, I immediately thought of how perfectly my jacket from the “Multiples Facettes” collection would have suited . This collection embodies inclusivity and freedom, excluding no one and restricting no one. ✨

The multifaceted nature of the collection is not only reflected in its adaptable sizes but also in the subtle details that only reveal themselves upon closer inspection. Every stitch and seam of this jacket carries the promise that fashion can be an expression of uniqueness and self-acceptance.
