The Eastern Ontario Agri-Food Network is a dynamic organization that brings together producers, processors, restaurateurs, and partners to promote local products, support agri-tourism, and stimulate regional economic development. We are seeking a strategic and motivating individual to lead the organization and actively contribute to its growth and visibility.
✅ Your Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the overall management of the organization and the implementation of its strategic vision. You will play a key role in the development of the regional agri-food sector and in building meaningful partnerships.
✅ Your Main Responsibilities
➡️ Leadership and Strategy
• Implement the strategic plan and advise the Board of Directors
• Position the Network as a key player in the sector
• Monitor trends in agri-food and agri-tourism
➡️ Development and Outreach
• Design and implement initiatives promoting local products
• Develop marketing campaigns and strategic projects
• Increase the visibility and impact of the Network
➡️ Members and Partnerships
• Recruit, engage, and retain members
• Develop partnerships with economic, tourism, and institutional sectors
• Represent the organization before regional stakeholders and authorities
➡️ Operations Management
• Oversee daily activities and projects
• Implement efficient processes and performance indicators
• Provide support to the Board of Directors
➡️ Human Resources
• Recruit, supervise, and motivate the team
• Maintain a positive and high-performing work environment
➡️ Financial Management
• Develop and manage the budget
• Ensure sound financial management and accountability
• Develop and diversify funding sources
✅ Desired Profile
Experience and Skills
• Experience in management (non-profit organization, economic development, or related sector)
• Excellent leadership and team engagement skills
• Experience in partnership development and fundraising
• Strong communication and representation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Availability to work occasionally evenings and weekends
• Mandatory bilingualism in English and French
✅ Assets
• Knowledge of the agri-food or agri-tourism sector
• Knowledge of the Eastern Ontario region
• Experience in marketing or regional development

• Full-time position
• Location: Eastern Ontario (hybrid work possible)
• Must own or have access to a vehicle
• Salary: Between $80,000 and $120,000 annually depending on experience, plus travel expenses
