Balsam firs are one of the tree types planted and cared for on our farm. We love watching them grow into the perfect holiday centrepiece.

Balsam fir trees have soft, fragrant needles with that classic Christmas scent. They have excellent needle retention, keeping your home tidy and festive with that beautiful pyramid shape that makes decorating your Christmas Tree easy! The strong branches are perfect to hold ornaments, lights, and garlands.

Balsam Firs are native to Canada and thrive in colder climates, with their needles rich in essential oils that give them a fresh forest aroma used in traditional salves and balms.

We’re officially preparing for our 2026 Christmas Market Season at Kelsey’s Christmas Tree Farm in Yarker, Ontario, and we’re looking for talented local makers to join us!

If you create something cozy, festive, handcrafted, or delicious — we want to hear from you.

Our market runs Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, and we’re building a magical, family‑friendly holiday experience filled with lights, trees, music, and community spirit. The shop will operate on a store-in-a-store model, meaning vendors do not have to stay on-site to sell their products. All transactions are processed through a point-of-sale (POS) system during customer purchases. 100% of the sale of your item will go to the vendor.

If you’re a maker who loves Christmas as much as we do, we’d love to showcase your work this season.

Although we closed the farm for the season we have been busy getting ready for our next adventure.

Four bunkies are being built in our tree line over looking one of our Christmas tree fields. Nature lovers will be able to stay in the bunkies to spend a little nature, and experience some rest and relaxation.

Next steps the outdoor kitchen, sauna and cold plunge.

RJ & I want to thank all of our family & friends who came out and supported our new adventure. We are more than overwhelmed by the support we received this season by the community, neighbours and all our amazing volunteers & helpers. We absolutely could not have done this without you!

We have so many ideas on how to improve the experience and the farm for coming years. Cheer to you and yours!

We have had a wonderful first year and have met so many wonderful people. RJ and I are overwhelmed with the support from the community, our friends and family.

Next weekend is our last weekend before we close the farm for the season. We still have some beautiful pre-cut balsam fir Christmas trees available between 5-9ft. Our vendors stock has gone down quite a bit but still some great products left.

There are some wreaths and beautifully local made planters.

Hours of operation: Friday 2:00pm- 5:00pm & Saturday 10:00am -5:00pm.
