ANNOUNCEMENT
Since our very first season in the summer of 2019, we have opened up our garden to host hundreds of flower-lovers, and have sold countless bouquets and arrangements to our faithful patrons. Our garden has been a place of peace, creativity and connection, and it has enriched our lives in so many ways. We have always felt that this garden is ours to steward well, and part of that stewardship is knowing that God gave us this opportunity, and we need to be faithful to His leading.
With that said, we have decided to take a PAUSE for the 2026 season. Two Sisters Flower Co. is not ending, but simply taking a summer off to focus on our families and be obedient to God’s call on us to rest from the work of flower farming for this year.
In the Old Testament of the Bible, God commanded His people to pause their farming to allow the land to rest on the 7th year. There was no crop planting, and the people had to trust God to provide for their needs. Although technically we have already been through our 7th season of flower farming, we find ourselves entering into a parallel with this sabbatical ritual of the Old Testament. We may have some uncertainties, like how to pick up our marketing momentum when we return, or if we will even have interest in our flowers next year. And just like those in the Bible learned, we are trusting that God will work out all the details if we are obedient to Him.
Although it feels like part of our heart is missing without our garden this summer, we know that God’s plan and timing are perfect, and we are looking forward to the rest that this season’s pause brings for us.
Thank you for your continued support as we take this step of faith. We are already excited to come back in 2027!
