Rural Roots Furniture Resurrection I look for furniture with strong visual appeal. I then look for good construction. I enjoy resurrecting pieces that others have given up on.

I grew up in a rural household in the 50's and 60's. Although we never went hungry we didn't live in luxury either. Hand me downs and leftovers were commonplace. We never threw anything out. Whatever broke down we fixed, whatever wore out we repaired. Warn and old clothing ended up as mats or quilts. Boy, we sure could have used duct tape back then! Don't throw it out...resurrect, renew and repurp
