Canadian Flowers Week 💐

There’s just something about flowers that has always pulled me in. Maybe it’s their beauty, or the way something so beautiful can start as a tiny seed tucked into the soil.

But there’s an extra kind of magic in local flowers.

When you choose a locally grown bloom, you’re choosing something that was planted, nurtured and harvested by someone right here in your community. You’re supporting local families, local farms and the people putting their hearts into keeping small-scale flower farming alive.

I love that my flowers don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. A crooked stem, a quirky dahlia or a bloom that turned out a little differently than expected — those little imperfections are what make locally grown flowers so special.

And honestly, that’s why I love what I do. 🌱 Every bouquet from The Bright Garden carries a little piece of the season, our soil and a whole lot of love.

This Canadian Flowers Week, I hope you’ll look a little closer at where your flowers come from. Choose local when you can. There is so much beauty growing right here. 🇨🇦🌼

Thank you to everyone who can out to Blooms in Woods last night! So much fun sharing my love for flowers with a great group of ladies!

I'm so excited to share this collaboration with Horner Creek Honey!

Alyssa provided the beautiful locally grown garlic, and I dressed each braid with a mix of fresh and dried flowers grown right here at The Bright Garden. The result is a functional piece that's just as beautiful hanging in your kitchen as it is useful for cooking.

Each braided garlic bouquet is $25 and available while supplies last.
