Prairie Sky Books was established in the Wolseley area of Winnipeg back in 1978, specializing in dharma, astrology, yoga, tai chi, tarot and other interests that, at the time, were described as New Age. THE GIFTS

In addition to our carefully curated assortment of books, we also have some of the most unique giftware in the city. From beautiful home decor pieces, imports from far-away la

nds, gemstones, sterling silver jewelry to our many varieties of incense, you're sure to find something you love! THE BOOKS

This locally-owned and operated bookstore has served the community for 40+ years. Today our focus of interest includes Buddhism, Indigenous cultures, ideas, & spirituality; Fiction, Witchcraft, Vegetarian and Vegan cooking; Tarot & Oracle decks, and Self-Empowerment/Improvement. We also have a good selection of resources for teachers and counsellors. Special Orders for books that are not in stock is fast and reliable, typically within a few days.

ATTENTION FRIENDS! Our yard sale was going to be Saturday, but the weather looks miserable, so we’re ACTIVATING THE RAIN DATE!

We hope you can join us this SUNDAY, JUNE 14th for the best yard sale of the year!

We’ve got vintage collectibles, kitchenware, and decor, non-vintage kitchen and home decor, tons of arts and craft supplies, the cutest Sailor Moon collectibles, jewelry and accessories, and so much more!

Think of it as a pop up boutique with yard sale prices! We have so many tables that we can’t host it outside of the shop, so please come visit us and our friends in the 300 block of Lipton Street (just north of Portage.)
