🌟 Staff Spotlight: Sheila
Sheila has been a valued part of the Arviat Arctic Connection team for the past year and even before that, she worked with us a couple of years ago. Having her back isn’t just appreciated it’s something we’re truly grateful for.
Sheila is someone you can count on, no matter what. Whether it’s a 4-hour shift or a full 7-hour day, she shows up available any day of the week, ready to work. She’s there early every morning helping prepare breakfast and getting the kitchen set up for the day ahead. She doesn’t slow down, and she doesn’t leave until the job is done.
One of Sheila’s favourite parts of the job is cooking, especially when it comes to large meals. She takes pride in making sure everything is ready on time, and those moments when everything comes together mean the most to her.
This past year has been busy, with a wide range of different orders keeping things constantly moving. Through it all, Sheila has been steady, reliable, and fully committed day in and day out.
Outside of work, she keeps things simple. She’s an early bird, often starting her day with some ABBA playing, and when it comes to food, burgers are her go-to. She’s also looking forward to a big holiday this spring/summer and some well-earned time off.
Sheila also values the people around her. She genuinely appreciates her job and her team and that shows in the way she works every single day.
