We are URGENTLY HIRING! Go Fresh Hospitality is looking for ONE motivated and enthusiastic WAREHOUSE MANAGER to join our warehouse team in Winnipeg!
**PREFERS WHO HAVE THEIR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE**
✅EXPECTATIONS:
1. Professional & Courteous Conduct
a. Full Uniform is required at all times in a clean
and presentable manner.
b. Courteous manner with all Suppliers, Customers
& Co-Workers.
c. High ethical & moral standard to ensure a
positive working environment true to corporate
values.
d. Provide solutions at first point of contact and
follow-up to ensure requests are completed
even outside of your involvement.
2. Warehousing
a. Manage Warehouse Product ensuring min/max
levels are always maintained
i. Stock and Organize Shelves using
approved designated methods including
first-in, first-out re-facing of stock
ii. Identify product that must be moved from
warehouse by requesting its “purchase”
from Account Managers daily.
iii. Identify overlapping products that can be
consolidated
iv. Identify “waste” and “consumed” product
daily
v. Emergency store pick-up to fill in shorted
items needed for current scheduled
deliveries
b. Manage supplier invoices for accurate
processing
c. Process, verify and pack all orders received by
12 noon daily for shipment the next day.
i. Ensure Ship-List is printed, Bins are
Labeled and Numbered for Logistics Team
and made ready for Loading
d. Assigned Team Managementi. Schedule
Assigned Team appropriately utilizing
appropriate targets and goals for site labour.
3. Maintain all Supplies and Equipment in a neat and
orderly manner
a. Ensure warehousing & delivery equipment is in
full working order & request replacement or
upgrades when required.
b. Perform Daily Maintenance and cleaning on
Warehouse Facility
i. Request capital purchases through
approved channels
c. Maintain strict compliance to Health and Safety
Procedures accordance to the Provincial Health
Code Requirements.
i. Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and
security of the work environment.
4. Logistics
a. Load Vehicles as required
b. Deliver emergency shipments as required
c. Schedule daily deliveries, transfers & pick-up
routes using approved procedures.
d. Manage delivery & pick-up procedures to
ensure running in proper working order at all
times.
e. Perform deliveries, transfers & pick-ups where
required as necessary.
f. Utilize incident tracking data to schedule and
prioritize both routine & emergency transfer
requests daily.
g. Close out completed assignments immediately
with appropriate closing remarks.
h. Process end of day procedures for office
reporting on all pick-ups & deposits ensuring
team members have appropriate information on
a daily basis.
i. Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance to
ensure it is always in a good working condition
5. Manage time accordingly to ensure the job gets
done
6. Acquire Support from Dir. Logistics when needed
7. Troubleshoot role and responsibility and suggest
areas for continual improvement daily
8. Warehouse Team Management
a. Perform the duties of the staff that are absent
b. Monitor performance of location with respect
to corporate expectations
9. Maintain Set Metrics
