JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering goods to customers, ensuring timely service, and maintaining excellent communication throughout the delivery process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The candidate will also be on the sales floor assisting customers with their needs, checking customers out through our POS system, along with mixing and making products.
Duties:
• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations within designated routes
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and address any concerns or questions
• Handle cash transactions, process payments using POS systems, and provide receipts as needed
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicle
• Organize delivery schedules for maximum efficiency using time management skills
• Upsell products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically handle cargo during deliveries
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with computer operation, filing, and merchandising practices is advantageous
• Leadership qualities and experience in upselling or cashiering are beneficial but not required
