To all our loyal customers and friends, after 17 years we have come to the decision to close The Fishes Lunch Box and retire on September 30th. We would like to thank all of the customers and friends over the years that have supported us. We still have stock and bait to liquidate before closing, so come and see all the great deals we have till than. Keep on fishing!

Some people may be eager to get out on the ice this season, but the OPP is asking people to check conditions before making the trip. They say the MNR is the best source for ice safety tips like staying close to shore where the ice is thickest and looking for clear blue ice, because it’s the strongest. According to the MNR, heavy snow on a frozen lake or river slows down the freezing process. [ 208 more words. ]
