MOGY has been at several markets this season selling and serving our community with quality made items sewn together in the quaint village of Cannington Ontario.

At our last market, a lovely person asked if I could whip up a scrunchie from the same material of linen that was used to make a zipper pouch! Here are the two items for those interested in seeing what we’ve been up to:)

Excited to share that a new maker’s studio space is coming along!

Excited to release the improved and refined design of MOGY's therapeutic rice packs!
Calculated and connected chambers distribute the rice without the clumping effect of all the grains piling into one side or the other.

French-seamed case protects the rice pack and is easily removable for convenient washing.

The item pictured measures 12x6" and is currently being offered for $20 each. The availability of this particular floral pattern is limited but there are plenty of other patterns (floral, sports, solid, musical, geometric, etc.) available. Happy to work with you to find something you love:)

That's a wrap! ;)
Since March, we have donated nearly 400 masks to our community in need. Now that most folks seem to have their coverings in place we will be re-tooling the studio and will share again soon what we have been busy creating:)

Heads up to those that are sporting our donated masks that there was a small batch that went out with aluminum wire for the nose piece as I ran out of copper and was waiting for the shipment to come in so subbed in aluminum during that time. Nothing wrong with the aluminum for your health or anything however I just pulled a mask out of the dryer that had the weaker metal in it and it snapped :/ it had been washed and dried in hot about a half a dozen times so it didn’t last very long.
I now have insulated copper wire back in stock so if your mask’s wire breaks just shoot me a message and I’ll rip a little seam and replace the wire and stitch it all back up for ya.
Sorry about that, folks! Now we know and moving forward we will do better :)

For those who've received one of our masks, please do practice putting it on properly before heading out. We want to minimize having to fiddle with the mask or straps or touching our faces when it's on.

The latest masks just before being packaged and mailed or picked up. Working through the list slowly but steadily. I still have material so if you are in need please do reach out. Happy to donate and do my part:)

I may be changing the pattern to a simplified version which will increase the numbers I can make in a day. But for now, this is what we’re looking at. Hope this helps!

MOGY has retooled the studio to focus exclusively on making and donating washable masks to those in need. These are a few we’re working on, just need to get some twill tape to finish off the straps.

Large, regular and child sizes available (more pictures to come. Masks shown are regular size)

Priority given to sick individuals.
Then those whom are high risk.
Finally to the rest of the interested population.

We are in need of more 20 gauge (or thinner) wire that is preferably rust-resistant, cotton or cotton/poly material with a tight weave, 1/4” twill tape and polyester thread.
