I’ve always loved making new creations and I decided to take the opportunity, while staying home to take care of my youngest daughter during the craziness of this year, to use my free time (not as much as I’d like with a toddler) to make new projects and share them with others.

Mermaids and Unicorns are here!!!

I will be releasing a few new bows and headbands each week for the next few weeks, starting with fabric bows.

Liverpool bows
- oversized bows on contrasting activewear headband (available in toddler and youth sizes)

Cotton bows
- small knot bow on nylon headband (fits newborn to youth)
- medium gathered bow on alligator clip

Tulle bows
- medium mermaid and unicorn inspired bows on alligator clip
- mini mermaid and unicorn alligator clips with wooden detail

I've been pretty quiet on social media recently, busy with spring break, restarting online learning, and mostly with trying to decide what to do next with my business.

When I was debating on whether or not to continue with my business at the beginning of the year, one of my biggest issues was that I have a hard time staying focused on one thing for too long. I named my business Making is my happy place because I didn't want to commit myself to a specific product or medium and I've been drawn in so many direction in the last few weeks and have had trouble trying to decide on just a few new items to work on.

These are some new materials that I will be working with for a mini Mother's Day release as well as my full new release in early May. There will still be some bows and headbands but keep your eyes out for a few new items I will be adding.

At the beginning of 2021, I went back and forth about whether I wanted to continue with Making is my happy place this year. I finally decided to run with it and let my heart take me where ever it may. I have some new pieces that I have been working on and can't wait to share them with you next week. For now, here's a glimpse of some the materials I have been playing around with and my new logo
