Welcome Summer. Thank you Spring.
We're going to have the best time.
There'll be paddleboarding, wild water swimming, Sunset gazing, flower picking, so many naked morning sunshine coffee times, bird banter, firefly filled night skies, dancing, berry eating, road trips, lake swims, wreath making on the beach, rock hunting, beach glass finding, watermelon, music, so much music, and love, so much self love, family love, friend love, nature love, just love, genuine love.
How's that for a morning rambles?
What are your Summer plans. How will you give yourself to this beautiful Season. And what will you share with it.

There's a hummingbird gracefully sipping on the tiny wee florets on the majestic figwort waving in the breeze. The air feels nice on my skin while I greet the morning Soleil with a big old smile whispering to myself that "today is going to be a beautiful day".
Last night, inspite of the tired, my loyal four legged friends and I frolicked into the field to bear witness to the setting Sun. Gosh~ Did you see it? The sky was a symphony of pinks and oranges and purples and yellows and killdeer and it was the most beautiful.
I gathered wildflowers and grasses, weeds, that's what y'all call them. I call them beautiful. Wild. Free. Bee food. Bird food. Mind food. Soul food. Soil food. Friends.
Gucci and I were thinking and hoping that we could inspire you to go for a little walk somewhere forgotten, abandoned, wild, and gather yourself a wee bouquet of pretty little things. Learn their names. Their medicine. Their purpose. There's a connection waiting for you, and I promise you that it will fill your heart right up ♡
Remember to thank the wildflowers for sharing their Joi de vivre with you.

It’s enough to drive one mad.
I have such a desire
to do everything,
my head is bursting with it.”

Have you ever felt like a Wild Whimsical Fairy Queen? This photo. This adventure. This memory, captured that feeling perfectly.
Yesterday's open house was wonderful. Slow, steady, offering me time to frolic and connect with the most beautiful people talking about all the things I love. My gardens and all things pretty. What was. What is. What becoming looks like. Sharing what I've learned over the years and inspiring them to hopefully see their gardens in a different light. One where you bear witness. One where you listen to what the garden is showing you and less of you telling Her what she needs. That's when the magic happens.
I am tired this morning. Feeling ever so grateful for the rains. I'm going to have a quiet day. I'm going to sew. I might even take myself thrifting down the road at There's No Place like Home. But for now, I'm going to sit in my little brown corduroy rocking chair and look out my window through the sumacs, and smile. Thank you, for all the things y'all gifted me yesterday ♡

How delightfully beautiful is the Peony! I spent the majority of the day making pretty messes with dried florals, listening to Monty Don ramble on about wild gardens. The shop is almost ready to welcome you all. And yes, there will be peony bunches waiting for you~

Today was such a good day! Inspite of the heat and the moist and the difficulty in breathing I managed to finish planting the last of my cut flower beds and continued to work in the shop getting ready for this weekends pop-up! It looks like a flower confetti bomb exploded in there and let me tell ya, that's exactly what my heart felt like while creating some new and exciting things for y'all to smile at. What do you think of this darling thrifted wall pocket?
This weekend will be all about dried floral pretties, fresh peonies and homemade cookies. I have decided to hold off on the garden tour part until July when the annual beds are blooming.
Why? Simply because the idea of having tours and an open house was making me feel all kinds of overwhelm. However, a garden tour is coming and I want to be the one leading it. Think of it as a show and tell, ask Melissa all the questions kind of wild frolic, now that makes me smile. I love showing y'all what I've created here.
A storm is rolling in, time for me to pray that it is gentle on the wild things.
The shop will be open Saturday from 11-4pm ♡
Kindly message me for the address. I look forward to welcoming you to my little sanctuary.

Do I post the silly one? Or the less silly one? Ha! Y'all get the goofy one!!! I turned 47 Yesterday and it was beautiful and heartbreaking and every emotion in between. I spent the day with the peoples I love the most, my babies, my mama and my Pete.
And the blessings. I counted them all. And there are many. Y'all showered me with countless messages and well wishes and it filled my heart to the brim.
I've been so busy. The peonies bloomed right on time and today I got the last of the strawflowers tucked into their newly dug beds. My arms, my back, and my neck need so many rubs and stretches and I cannot wait to slip into the tub. 47 and I am so proud of the woman I am growing in to. I am strong. I am hard working. I am kind. I am passionate and oh so talented. I am loved, I inspire and I wake everyday in aw at what I've created here. And I'd love to share it with you!
It's time for a pop-up! I'll be opening up the shop this Saturday from 11am-4pm here near Wheatley. I'll have wreaths, signs, a few surprises and fresh peonies!!! There will also be homemade treats for you to sample on while you peruse the gardens. Yup!! I'm letting ya walk about. It inspires me daily and I hope it does the same for you♡ That's my dream.
Kindly message me for my address as I'm still not comfortable posting it publicly. I look forward to hearing from you♡
Please share♡

"That moment when it hits you that your life won't last forever, and you think about the people you love deeply, and thinking about it aches. And you don't know if it's because sometimes you love people so much it hurts,
or because you wonder if you missed opportunities to love them, or could have loved them better, and you are reminded once again that there is nothing more important than love.
The greatest single need and desire of humankind is LOVE.
To love is the greatest power and freedom we possess.
Every thought, word, and action motivated by love, transforms our reality.
Love is the highest expression of what it means to be human.
The chief characteristic of true enlightenment is love. The best I know to tell you, is don't leave love left undone. Go all the way with love.
There may be things you don't accomplish, attain, or achieve in your life.
Do not let shrinking back from love be one of them.
If you are fortunate, you discover that love is the only thing that really matters, love heals everything, and love is all there is.
On your way out of this world you will look back and see it was always about that... it was always love."
Jim Palmer
