At approximately 7:18 p.m. on Monday, December 15th, received a 911 call reporting a suspected impaired driver leaving a local establishment. Witnesses provided a detailed description of the driver, who was located shortly afterwards and arrested for Impaired Driving.

WVPD has conducted an extensive canvas for CCTV, dash cam footage, and further damage in the area. There may be additional damaged vehicles whose owners are currently unaware of a link to this incident. Witness accounts and evidence suggest the vehicle drove the following streets:

The ADBIA Christmas Tree is once again shining brightly in Millennium Park, welcoming the start of the holiday season.

This year, we’ve expanded our festive display by adding additional lighting to the trees surrounding the park. The extra sparkle helps create a warm, cheerful atmosphere and brings a little more light to our village during these early winter sunsets.

We hope the enhanced display adds to your seasonal celebrations and encourages everyone to enjoy the beauty of our community throughout the holidays. Be sure to tag us in your photos at

We are sad to share the news that, after 18 years of being one of West Vancouver's favourite restaurants, Mangia E Bevi Ristorante will be closing its doors. Their last day of service will be New Years Eve. If you’d like to enjoy one last delicious Italian meal, please be sure to call ahead and make a reservation. They’ll also be offering special wine features throughout the entire month of December.

Be sure to call early to secure your holiday reservation! If you have a group that would prefer a Christmas lunch, contact Doug at 604-922-8333 to make arrangements.

A huge thank you to Doug, Rob, and the entire Mangia e Bevi family for the many years of food, wine, and for being such wonderful community members! ❤️

After 18 unforgettable years, Mangia e Bevi will be closing its doors on January 1st.

From day one, our mission was simple — bring a piece of Italy to West Vancouver. What we didn’t expect was how many incredible memories, friendships, and shared moments would come with it.

To everyone who has sat at our tables, celebrated milestones with us, supported us through every season, and became part of our Mangia E Bevi family — thank you. You’ve made this journey one we will never forget.

As we approach our final month, December reservations are filling up faster than ever. If you’d like to join us one more time, we’d love to serve you.

With gratitude,
Doug & Rob
Mangia E Bevi 🇮🇹❤️
