Keitha Marie

Keitha Marie Decadence in handcrafted chocolate products & Fresh Fudge is what we are all about! Implementing the plan a few months after graduation, I Love Chocolate!

We also sell products from work projects that we organize in Haiti to create sustainable work opportunities for Haitians so that they can improve their life. Our family business started out simply as a school project for Krista (Hazelwood) Byers to create a business plan for a final year course at Ryerson Polytechnic University. ltd was born in 1994, and located in Fergus, Ontario, Canada. Bit by

bit we grew until we were a destination store for visitors to the area. Working with a great team of 13 year round and 20+ seasonally, we had a production facility and retail store for our decadent chocolates and gourmet food products, plus a gift store that included women's fashions. 21 years after startup, we sold the assets of our corporation and followed our dream of living in Eastern Canada in 2015. After a year of reflection, Krista challenged herself to hatch a new business concept: something different that was fun and one that she could be passionate about. The birth of our new corporate name Keitha Marie LTD resulted. What's in the name? Keitha represents the entrepreneurial, business mind, taking chances, and the side that has to be strong...but not tough. It also honours Krista's Dad Keith, killed in a farm accident in 1991. Krista inherited her entrepreneurial roots from her Dad, and Keitha was a name that was considered to be Krista's given name at birth that stuck around in the deep recesses of her mind..perhaps waiting for this very moment! Marie represents the more feminine side, plus a side of careful consideration, wisdom, & commemorates Krista's Mom. Keitha Marie represents what we all need to be at times: sometimes life's experiences cause us to lean more towards the Keitha characteristics, other times being Marie is necessary. A combination of both to draw on is a great balance! Haiti continues to be intertwined with our business as it is with our life, woven together like a tapestry - inseparable - as our 5 kiddos were born in Haiti. As a result, we now are blessed with more family members and special friends in Haiti. Visiting Haiti is like going home - it warms the heart in a special way. We are committed to a few sustainable work projects there. A little effort can make a big impact...so we continue on. Check out our Haiti section of our store for more details. As always, the cornerstone of our business continues to be an emphasis on quality products & great customer service. You, our customer, are very important to us. We want you to have a great shopping experience with us! If we hit the bull's eye, please let us know. If there is something we can improve...please let us know as well so that we can do our best to make it right! Our motto is summed up in this inspiring quote: "When we focus our energy towards creating a passionate, meaningful life, we are tossing a pebble into the world, creating a beautiful ripple effect of inspiration. When one person follows a dream, tries something new, or takes a daring leap, everyone nearby feels that energy, and before too long they are making their own daring leaps and inspiring yet another circle." Christine Mason Millar

PENDING❣️😊
We are looking for a cheerful helper to help us 1-2 days per week from 10-4 mostly between Wednesday and Friday until Easter time. We are in Upper Falmouth. We are needing help mostly with packaging, but we will also need some help with dishwashing, and cleaning. You just need to have a positive attitude, manual dexterity and be able to stand for long periods of time. Our internationally positive workplace has a positive vibe and we enjoy chatting about all manner of things from preserving and canning to world issues, gardening, and vermicomposting with our small team while we work. If you are interested and feel that this might be a fit, please send us a direct message for more info. Thanks!😊
