Time to Retire 🌸

This is such a bitter sweet post 😭 But after much consideration, we’ve decided that it’s time to close up the greenhouse and retire. We are so excited for this next chapter, but soooooo sad to say goodbye to the most INCREDIBLE customers! We loved growing, but all you beautiful people were the reason we loved the business so much ♥️

There truly are no words to describe our gratitude for all of you 🥹 The way you shared our business with your friends, offered words of encouragement, shared all the ups and downs of life and brought soooo much joy to our little greenhouse. THANK YOU!!! We will miss seeing you and catching up, but thankfully the Kootenays isn’t too big and I’m sure our paths will cross 😊😊

Time for this Granny to get back to full time picnics and play dates 🤪🤩 We hope you’re all enjoying your flowers and have an amazing summer! ♥️♥️

In classic Kootenay fashion, winter temps are having one more go 🤪🥶

Friday night to Tuesday morning are CHILLY! You’ll want to bring your flowers in overnight anytime you see a low of 3 degrees or less. Check the weather for your specific area, especially if you live in a higher elevation area 😊

WOW! The greenhouse is exploding in color and it’s just soooo beautiful to see the flowers in bloom 🌸🌼 Every last piece has sold and we are so so grateful! Thank you so much everyone! Your support means the world 😊

We’re hoping to wrap up the season after this weekend 😊🤩 If you can plan to pick up your baskets and pots over this coming weekend that would be amazing! I will also be at the greenhouse most days this week, so if you would like to pick up during the week, just message me to ensure I’ll be home. We will be away from the greenhouse Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon 😊

Hi friends! Danielle popping on here! Just wanted to say a big Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing mamas and a special shout out to my Mama ♥️

As you all know, she’s AMAZING!!!! As a family we are so grateful for her and the incredible mom and Granny she is. She is so incredibly generous, kind, FUN, selfless and the greatest gift to all of us. Momsie, we love you so so much and are so proud of you as a business owner, talented grower and ray of sunshine to all you encounter 🌼☀️ Happy Mothers Day!

WOW!!!! It’s hard to believe that we will be open TOMORROW 🤩 Where have the past few months gone! We will be open Friday-Sunday 11:00-5:00 🌸🌼 If you are planning to pick up your flowers this weekend, please send a message so I can pull your baskets before you arrive. This helps so so much!

We have verrrry limited stock and will post pictures of what is available below. We will keep this post updated with numbers so you know what is available before coming. If you’re interested in anything below, feel free to comment on the picture and we will tag it for you 😊 Thank you for making this our quickest sell out to date! Your support is incredible!!!

The evening temps are looking well above zero and safe to set flowers out, but you will want to be diligent watching the lows in your specific areas, especially higher elevation. If it gets as low at 3/4 degrees, it’s best to bring your plant babies in.

The recent warm weather is helping things to grow so well, but with the cooler spring, the Calibrachoa baskets are growing a little slow. If you prefer to leave them at the greenhouse a little longer that is great!

We’ve been so busy behind the scenes and things in the greenhouse are looking amazing!! The flowers are LOVING this warm, sunny weather!! ☀️🌼 So many beautiful blooms and lots of preorders!

Our first weekend open will be the weekend of May 8th from 11-5! We’re excited to see all of you in a few short weeks 🤩

We are SO thrilled to be back in the greenhouse planting again!!! YAY! Our plant babies arrived on Thursday and planting should be all done tomorrow! 🌸🌼

It was so special working in the greenhouse with my daughter Danielle and my daughter in law Jaime 🩷🩷 Big shout out to Brandon (Danielle’s hubby) who took care of all the kiddos while we worked! You’re super dad! This venture is such a team effort and my heart feels so grateful for the gift of being able to work as a family 🥹🥹

We can’t wait for you all to see the color combos we have this year, and even a few new blooms! Soooo many pretty ones!!! Let’s all think warm, sunny thoughts ☀️ Spring is coming!!!

Happy first day of March! We are busy behind the scenes getting ready for our flowers to come in a few weeks 🤩 We’re starting to mix soil and SO looking forward to the upcoming season!

We’re excited to be apart of a fun silent auction for our granddaughters school! You can bid on a 14” multi basket, and can also bid on a set of candles from my daughter’s business, Homestead Candle Co.
