This print has been getting so much love lately and it makes me so happy 💙

It showcases the incredible life cycle of the blue spotted salamander which is honestly pretty awesome inspiring. With the start of warmer weather I have been keeping my eyes peeled for amphibians but not luck yet! Be sure that’s I’ll let you know once I find some !

Spring has finally sprung in Northern Ontario🌱

I don’t know about you guys but I miss sharing my favourite forest plants with you. The plants and trees have largely been dormant since fall and seeing greenery again brings out so much joy and wonder 💚.

Buds are just starting to flush here and I heard rumours that some spring ephemerals are out. Don’t worry I’ll search for them and report back 🫶

In case you missed my story a couple weeks ago, this is what is currently on the easel 🎨

I have been battling a bit of a creative rut lately 😮‍💨. I often have so many ideas and projects on the go but had to take a little step back to recharge and centre myself ❤️

This piece will be the next on in my wildflower series, the pink lady slipper 🌸. My goal is to get this one done in time to photograph the final piece next to the blooming flowers (mid June usually depending on location!).

I tried something new at my last market, and that was having some ready made framed pieces 🖼️

Seeing the piece in frames really made them pop, especially this blue jay in a custom cut mat 💙

I’m going to keep this option going forward, cause finding to perfect frame is sometime such a pain! It also made me look at my pieces in a different way and I LOVED it 🥰

What do you think of this option? Frame no frame? Does it matter?

Another beautiful trip to Nova Scotia in the books. Less than a year ago I travelled to the east coast for the first time and fell in love with it.

I’m so grateful to have been apart of this past weekend. It was truly inspiring being surrounds by such incredibly talented and passionate artisans 🥰.

Introducing my Acadian Cones fine art print 💚

This print highlights the different tree species found in eastern Canada. A different forest region than where I am from (boreal). A lot of the same species- but with even more diversity 😍🌱.
