Some cards are easy to make.
Birthday? Easy. Thank you? Lovely.
But sympathy cards? Missing-you cards? Those can feel… tricky.

✂️ For June, we’re focusing on cards for the occasions that don’t always come with easy words. The ones where you want the card to feel thoughtful, gentle, and personal — without overthinking every single detail. Because yes, even a handmade card for a hard moment can still feel beautiful and comforting.

😻This project uses the same floral image in two ways:
One card is softly coloured for a warmer “I miss you” feel, and the other is left black and white with a soft pink sentiment strip for a simple sympathy card.

💡Tiny design choices can completely change the mood of a card.
That’s the magic. And also why we’re making cards for the tricky occasions this month.

What do you think about the change? The craft room before, during and now 💕
What about a craft room video of the setup and storage?

I might be bias but… after some reflection I’m debating which might be cuter 🤔.
Technically I’m a little scared of both Willow and the new product of the month 😆
Willow can be hissy and lined stamp images means colouring is in my future 🖍️🎨

Anyone else struggle with colouring sometimes?

1st of 5 projects for the June inspiration kit to craft at home 🇨🇦
A2 size card base and embossed layer is 1/4” smaller than base and I used the Everyday Arches dies and Lily of the Valley bundle.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever overcomplicated a card. 🙋‍♀️

This design is your reminder that simple doesn’t mean boring.

A few layers, a clean layout, and a sentiment are all it takes to create a card that’s elegant, modern, and ready for almost any occasion.

Sometimes less really is more.
