I am a fibre artist and I work with a process called silk fusion. I use this process to create fabric. Cork fabric and or vinyl are the base fabric.

That I then add to bags wallets wall hangings and home accessories . I am a retired registered nurse, a wife and mother of 4 grown kids and now a grandmother of 3 and counting! About 10 years ago I was shown a process using silk roving called silk fusion. This process captured my imagination and over the last 10 years I have used this process in many interesting and creative ways. This results in

unique pieces of fabric art every time - even I don't know what the end product will look like! Most recently I have discovered working with all natural cork leather fabric, and the possibilities combined with silk fusion are endless. I make my own patterns, as well as using more established ones, and this creative process of experimenting is essential to my art.

7 years ago I attended my first artisan craft market and found it a great place to meet folks and sell my creations. I sell at markets and artist's collectives but I find I am now also ready to enter the world of online selling.
