We welcome applications for grassroots all-volunteer anti-hierarchical/anarchist activist projects. We are interested in supporting community projects that would not gain funding from the state or from charities, and favour supporting collectives or community groups rather than to individuals or for-profit businesses. Project themes we're excited to support include:
* Indigenous Sovereignty/Resurgence Projects
* Allyship/Accompliceship Projects
* Food Security Projects
* Tenant’s Rights/Housing Security Projects
* Refugee/Migrant Support Projects
* Prison Abolition/Prisoner Support Projects
* Ecological Actions/Projects
* Disaster Response/Community Resiliency Projects
* Skillshares/Consciousness Raising Non-State Educational Initiatives
* Activist Art/Radical Media Projects
* Anarchist Projects

This mutual aid project would not be possible without the incredible support of YOU, our community. Camas Books is a not-for profit, volunteer-run operation — after we pay rent, order books, and pay artists who sell their creations through us, our surplus revenue goes back into the community via mutual aid.
Without community support, we would not have surplus resources to distribute towards projects in the community where folks are working - in so many different ways - to create a more just, caring, anti-hierarchical world in the shell of the old.

at the 17th Annual Stolen Sisters Memorial March for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls 2SLGBTQQIA+ 231 Calls for Justice

We will gather at Centennial Square (Downtown Victoria) and walk together in unity and love to the B.C. Legislature Grounds.

This memorial march is a sacred space to honour our cherished relations who have been stolen, to lift up survivors, families, and communities, and to stand together for justice, safety, and healing.
Photos of loved ones are welcome, but please no flags or political posters.

We raise our voices for long-term, sustainable action and an end to the ongoing genocide facing Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, gender-diverse people, men, and boys.

Your presence matters.
Every step. Every drumbeat. Every heart.

Community support helps ensure the Stolen Sisters Memorial March runs smoothly. Whether you walk with us or assist with the day’s events, your support means so much.
