A few details for anyone planning to join us at the Oak Bay Bikes Jump Jam this Saturday at North Saanich Freeride Park.

The park opens at 10:00 AM, with registration and practice throughout the morning. The rider meeting takes place at 11:00 AM, and judging and contests kick off at 12:00 PM, starting with the Youth Pump Track before moving through the Blue, Black, and Pro jump lines. We’ll finish the day with Best Trick and a Whip-Off to close things out.

Whether you’re riding, spectating, or bringing the family, everyone is welcome. We’ll have a free BBQ, raffle prizes, giveaways throughout the day, and plenty of incredible riding to watch.

A reminder that all riders will need to complete a waiver before participating. Riders under 18 will require a parent or guardian signature.

We’re also looking for a few volunteers to help with parking, rider check-in, the BBQ, and general event support. If you’d like to lend a hand, please email [email protected]

Join us on Saturday, June 20 for the first Oak Bay Bikes Jump Jam.

We’ve got and joining us as guest judges, contests on the pump track plus the Blue, Black, and Pro lines, a Best Trick contest, Whip-Off, BBQ, raffle prizes, and plenty of giveaways throughout the day.

You don’t need to be riding to come along. Grab some food, support the riders, catch up with friends, and enjoy the show.

We’re excited to officially launch the Oak Bay Bikes Ambassador Program and welcome our first ambassador, Clay Webb.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Clay has always had a deep connection to the outdoors. After spending most of his childhood outside, it’s no surprise he’s gone on to spend the last two decades as an outdoor educator and guide, helping others discover the same passion for adventure and nature.

When he’s not out building community through local rides and events, you’ll usually find him chasing endurance challenges. From Everesting Observatory Hill to riding 500 continuous kilometres at UVic, Clay has quietly earned legendary status in the local cycling scene.

More than anything though, Clay represents what we love most about riding here - community, passion, adventure, and inspiring others to get outside on two wheels.

We’re proud to have him as an Oak Bay Bikes Ambassador.

Possibly one of the wildest looking bikes we’ve had in the store recently.

The new Orbea Rallon E10 in Aloha Green is definitely a looker, but it backs it up with serious capability when the trail points down. Big travel, adjustable geometry, and built to thrive on steep, rough, high-speed terrain.

A proper enduro machine that’s just begging for park laps, shuttle days, and getting a little out of hand.
