This is a random assortment of jewellery I’ve made in the last 10 years. The styles may look pretty disparate, but something all of these pieces have in common is that each one of them is made using the same basic set of skills.

More spring cleaning finds! Back in the late aughts and early 10s, I paid most of my bills by making this jewellery out of recycled plastic carrier bags.

They’re cleaned, layered, and melted into flat sheets of plastic, then cut into shapes and hand-stitched to wire frames.

I knew I had some of the sheets of plastic left, but I thought the jewellery was long-gone. Turns out I have a few dozen pieces left!

I’m going to polish them up and bring them to the next weekend to see what you think of them. Shop not just my abandoned craft supplies, but my abandoned craft projects 😂

Parting with my bead collection is like pulling teeth, but I’ve destashed some I just don’t think I’ll be using, plus some cabochons that require settings too big for my little jewellery torch to handle.
