This is a difficult post to share. 💛
Over the past few years, I have been quietly navigating a late-stage cancer diagnosis. While I’ve been incredibly fortunate to overcome it not once, but twice, I am not fully out of the woods. With that in mind, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close our Hillside location and focus on my health and my family.
We will remain open through Mother’s Day, with our final day being Tuesday May, 12th. It has been such an honour to build this beautiful space and community in Victoria over the years, and I truly hope to return in some capacity over the holiday season.
I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the team at Hillside Centre & BGO for their support through this decision. Even though our time was short, it has truly been a pleasure to be part of the community there. I am endlessly grateful to every customer, maker, and supporter who has been part of this journey.
The good news is that our Comox Valley location at Driftwood Mall will remain open, and I look forward to continuing to serve our amazing local community there.
We would love to see you in-store over the coming days, and stock up for Mother’s Day! We will have some sales as we begin to wind down.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and understanding during this transition. Your encouragement over the past few years and support of our local makers has meant more to me than words can express. 💛
