📚🌞 Meet Local Author Carolyn Wild at the Sunshine Festival! 🌞📚

If you haven’t discovered Carolyn Wild yet, you’re in for a treat! Carolyn is a local author, teacher, farmer, and photographer, from BC who has created the wonderful Wild Acres Farm Series—a collection of engaging early-reader books that help children learn about animals, nature, seasons, family life, literacy, science, and more. Her books are specifically designed for young readers and feature real photographs, sight words, picture dictionaries, science facts, rhyming text, and learning activities. Recommended for ages 4–8, they make learning fun and accessible for beginning readers.

From learning about animal families and food chains to counting, colours, seasons, syllables, vocabulary, and reading readiness, Carolyn’s books bring the beauty of farm life and the natural world right into children’s hands. The series includes titles such as Spring: On The Farm, Fall: Colours and Squirrels, Bunnies: Big and Small, My ABC Book: Rhymes and Farm Friends, and many more.

Our mining carts have been restocked and they’re packed with geodes in all kinds of sizes! 💎⛏️
