Ghost pipe is a low dose herb that I rarely use, but I like to keep on hand in case of severe mental or physical anguish. Monotropa uniflora is a nervine to the forest that requires pine and russula mushrooms to live, because it cannot make its own food. If you decide to harvest this plant please be mindful that it is rare and never over harvest.

Our August 9th date is booked! So we have decided to open up Saturday the 8th for an herb walk as well.

We'll learn how to safely identify some of our local medicinal plants and discuss how to use them. Don't worry about remembering everything you hear, you'll get a complimentary handout on all the plants with recipes and more.

It's a great way to learn about herbalism by starting with the plants that live closest to us.
