This weekend Ambassador did a HUGE thing and hosted their first Canadian Women's Snow Polo Tournament!♀️🐎
While polo is a fairly well known sport, its size and support in Canada is much smaller than in the US and other countries. As a result, women's leagues, series and tournaments are few and far between.
Dedicated to growing the sport and developing some amazing female athletes, Hailey Vdb and the team at came together to form the Canadian Women's Polo Series aka CWPS
Its easy to turn a blind eye to gaps in our sport. Hailey saw a gap in her sport and instead of just moving on, she got to work to make a difference.
The CWPS is about way more than just playing polo. It's about female athletes coming together to raise eachother up in a sport where women are under-represented.
If you ask me, the CWPS and their most recent successful snow polo tournament is a prime example of , which is something we should never get tired of seeing🔥
Change doesn't happen overnight, but with initiatives like CWPS- we're working towards a future of equestrian sports which can be home for EVERYONE. 💪👭
