A small holiday note 🎄✨

We’ll be taking a winter break from December 18 to January 9, so our last shipping day before the holidays is December 17 (Vancouver time).

How shipping will work:
• Orders placed on or before Dec 17 will ship before the break
• Orders placed from Dec 18 onwards will ship after we’re back on Jan 9, in the order they’re received

To close out the year, all puzzles are 15% off from Dec 11–31 (automatically applied at checkout) ☺️

If you’re choosing a puzzle as a Christmas gift, we’d recommend ordering by Dec 15 for the best chance of it arriving in time.

Soft watercolours and quiet anticipation 🌟

Kim Jacobs' watercolour art has this dreamy, cozy quality — and Waiting for Santa is no exception. Watching this scene come together piece by piece — the soft colours, the gentle light glowing from the candles — it captures that magical feeling of waiting for something wonderful.

Like our other four Kim Jacobs puzzles, Waiting for Santa is printed directly on watercolour art paper to preserve the original painterly feel as much as possible. New puzzle drop No. 2 🧩☀️

Sharing the second puzzle in our John Powell collection today - “Mangos and Matilijas”, a 500-piece ode to slow California summers.

The very first time I saw this painting while looking through Mr. Powell’s work, my eye went straight to that cloud of white flowers in the top left corner. They’re matilija poppies – the flowers people in California sometimes call fried egg flowers, with soft white petals and a sunny yellow centre. I only learned about them because of this painting, so if you live in California or grew up with these flowers around you, I’d love to hear your stories in the comments. ☺

In this painting, the matilijas are quietly blooming in a blue-and-white vase, while ripe mangoes rest on the table below, full and golden like little pieces of sunshine gathered in a bowl. A white cockatoo stands peacefully in the corner, keeping the scene company. Everything feels warm and unhurried.

This puzzle also features a matte, velvet-touch finish and comes with a reference poster of the artwork and a short artist bio inside the box.

Both puzzles in this collection will be available to pre-order from November 20, and are expected to arrive in Vancouver 🇨🇦 at the end of November. Can’t wait to see which one you’d like to start with. 🧡

New puzzle drop ☺️🧩

We’re so happy to share something we’ve been quietly excited about — our next collection, featuring two puzzles with artwork by the beloved Californian painter John Powell .

First up is “Sacred Treasures”, a 1000-piece puzzle that feels like stepping into a quiet, sunlit room.

I first came across Mr. Powell through a pre-loved 300-piece puzzle and was instantly drawn to his bright, generous colours, the layers of detail, and the calm abundance in his scenes. His paintings always feel peaceful and full of life, as if time has slowed down in soft afternoon light.

Sacred Treasures is one of those cozy corners he loves to paint – a space filled with treasured porcelain, vases🏺, flowers and fabrics. On an ornate side table, a deep blue crane vase overflows with flowers in full bloom. A red tapestry embroidered with a phoenix rests over the chair. Shelves nearby hold more favourite pieces: yellow and coral vessels, painted jars, and graceful pots that catch the light. Behind everything, birds and blossoms dance across the wallpaper, echoing the flowers in the room.

Rich in colour but never chaotic, it feels like a quiet conversation between Eastern-inspired treasures and Powell’s warm, Western brushstrokes.

This puzzle features a matte, velvet-touch finish that’s soft on the hands and gentle on the eyes. Inside the box you’ll also find a reference poster of the artwork along with a short artist bio.

Sacred Treasures is travelling to us by sea and is expected to arrive in Vancouver 🇨🇦 at the end of November, together with our Christmas puzzle. Pre-orders open on November 20, alongside our Black Friday offers — we can’t wait to share this calm, colourful treasure with you soon. 🧡

Almost here ✨

Our very first Christmas puzzle, Waiting for Santa, is on its way by sea and should arrive in Vancouver at the end of November. Thank you again for helping us choose the box colour a while back — we went with the red you loved, and seeing it in person feels so right. It’s our first time creating a holiday puzzle, and we know we’re cutting it a little close with timing this year, so thank you for waiting for it with us. 🥰🎄

This cozy puzzle features a watercolour illustration by Kim Jacobs . The artwork is printed directly onto watercolour paper for that original painted texture, paired with a corkboard backing, our two signature whimsical shapes (🌸🗝️), a cotton drawstring bag, and an art print with the artist’s details — all tucked into a gold-foiled gift box. Let’s add a little magic to this holiday season ☺️
