Focal Spirit Professional headphones are on special during the month of october for $330, down from $399.

Although my all-time favourites are the Sennheiser HD800's, I've recently been using the Spirits as a mix reference, and also for personal listening.

They're closed back, so they won't bother your significant other, or people on the bus, and they're not super bulky so it's not a hassle to carry them around with you.

They translate well, and in my opinion compete with headphones that cost a few hundred dollars more!
