Showcase Pianos was proud to provide the FAZIOLI F228 that was used in the latest episode of The Reluctant Traveller on Apple TV+ starring Eugene Levy and Michael Bublé, both of whom signed the piano. FAZIOLI Model F228 is considered to be the most perfectly balanced piano in the world, and this one is available at our Aberdeen Centre location. Showcase Pianos owners Manuel & Judy enjoyed the filming of this episode and can be seen in the background.

The 19th edition of the Chopin International Piano Competition has drawn to a close — and once again, FAZIOLI stands proudly among the winners. Four years after the previous edition, the results once again display a remarkable trend: pianists performing on FAZIOLI pianos continue to reach the top of one of the most prestigious stages in the classical music world.

It was only four years ago when Bruce (Xiaoyu) Liu claimed First Prize and Martín García García earned Third Prize — both performing on FAZIOLI instruments.

This year the trend continues. Eric Lu of the United States won First Prize with his emotional and captivating performance on FAZIOLI. Meanwhile, rising star and an audience favorite, Tianyao Lyu of China received the Fourth Prize ex aequo and the Warsaw Philharmonic Award for the best performance of a Concerto — also performing on FAZIOLI.

Congratulations to Eric Lu, Tianyao Lyu, and to all the participants for their inspiring interpretations of Chopin’s music. We wish everyone the best on their artistic journey.
