Spartacus Books Spartacus Books is a nonprofit, volunteer-run bookstore and resource centre. The store has been run collectively for over 40 years.

We moved recently, as of February 1st 2022, you can find us at 1983 Commercial Drive. Our hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

=== Basis of Unity ===
Spartacus Books is a collectively run infoshop located on the territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. W

e share information and resources with individuals and communities of diverse radical tendencies in order to build relationships of struggle that reflect our values

To provide an example of what other worlds are possible, we recognize that how we do things is as important as what we do. We work toward an anti-colonial and anti-capitalist practice based on mutual aid, equity, rejection of hierarchy, and consensus within an anti-oppression framework, understanding that all oppressions are fundamentally linked. As a part of confronting domination in all of its forms, we challenge the reproduction of oppressive politics within our personal lives. We are connected to struggles for liberation across time and space, which we look to for inspiration in the face of cascading ecological collapse. Despite the odds being against us, we understand that the struggle is continuous, and we persevere.
